Whether you’re welcoming customers into our stores, collaborating with global teams at our headquarters, or keeping operations moving at our distribution centers, your impact is real and valued. At Crocs, Inc. you’re not expected to fit a mold. You’re encouraged to break it and create something better.

Overview

We are looking for a Director, Category Management, Lifestyle to lead the global strategy and product vision for our adult Lifestyle portfolio, spanning Sneakers, Slippers, Flats, Crocs at Work, fashion-led silhouettes, and emerging category opportunities.

As Director, you will own and evolve the Global Lifestyle category strategy and roadmap, identifying where Crocs has permission to play, where the consumer and marketplace are moving, and how we translate those opportunities into compelling product and sustainable growth.

You are a product leader with exceptional judgment, curiosity, and range. You bring a strong and versatile product point of view, with the taste level to move fluidly across a diverse portfolio, from Sneakers and street-influenced product to fashion-led silhouettes and new Lifestyle spaces. You connect consumer, culture, marketplace, and business insights to determine what is relevant, brand-right, and commercially compelling.

You thrive in ambiguity, using strong product and business judgment to create clarity, establish direction, and drive progress even when all inputs are not yet known. You confidently navigate a global, highly cross-functional organization, influencing partners, aligning teams around a clear vision, and translating strategy into action.

Above all, you are passionate about consumers, product, and people. You improve standards, develop talent, challenge the status quo, and build a culture of curiosity, ownership, and accountability.

What You'll Do

  • Own and evolve the Global Lifestyle category strategy and multi-season roadmap, with Sneakers as a key growth platform alongside adjacent Lifestyle opportunities.
  • Translate consumer, cultural, competitive, marketplace, and business insights into a clear product vision, strategic choices, and category priorities.
  • Bring exceptional product instincts and a broad, discerning taste level across diverse aesthetics, consumers, occasions, and categories.
  • Lead category management excellence across briefing, line planning, assortment strategy, launches, product lifecycle, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Navigate ambiguity with confidence, making sound decisions and maintaining momentum without requiring every input or pathway to be fully defined.
  • Lead and influence across Design, Product Development, Merchandising, Marketing, Commercial, and regional teams to build alignment and deliver against shared priorities.
  • Anticipate future consumer and marketplace shifts, identify whitespace, and challenge existing assumptions to unlock new opportunities.
  • Translate strategy into clear actions, ownership, and priorities while driving accountability and results at pace.
  • Develop and inspire talent through clear expectations, meaningful ownership, coaching, feedback, and mentorship.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in category management, product management, merchandising, or a related consumer product field, ideally within footwear, fashion, lifestyle, or adjacent consumer categories.
  • Exceptional product instincts and broad taste level, with the ability to identify what is culturally relevant, brand-right, and commercially compelling across a diverse portfolio.
  • Deep understanding of global consumers, culture, marketplace dynamics, competition, and emerging trends.
  • Strong strategic and commercial approach with demonstrated ability to connect consumer, product, marketplace, and business to make clear recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate successfully in ambiguity, independently creating clarity, making decisions, and driving action.
  • Track record of developing successful category strategies and bringing compelling products or initiatives to market.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and executive verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complexity and build alignment.
  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing talent.
  • Ability to travel globally.
